Research Assistance

Are you having trouble tracing your Grinnell ancestors? Let us help! We allocate money from our treasury every year to aid deserving members with their genealogical research. Additionally, many of our members have already performed extensive Grinnell research, and might already have the information you are seeking! These are free services--ones we are happy to perform!

Please contact GFA genealogical committee member Marj Murray with your Grinnell-related genealogical queries.

Genealogical Submissions

The GFA plans to publish a more complete version of the Grinnell Genealogy around December, 2007. We hope you will share your genealogical research with us.

We have provided forms at this link to help you organize your research. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader application to view and print these forms.

When you are ready to submit your research, please contact the following:

Marj asks that you provide information as completely as possible. In other words, for each event, such as birth, marriage, death, burial, we really need day, month year, and city, county, state, country (if not USA).
